Since these four fields are closely related to each other, consideration is given so that students can take a wide range of courses according to their intellectual interests, regardless of their specialization. Most of the classes are conducted in a seminar style with discussion by all participants rather than one-way lectures. In addition, even if the class takes the form of a lecture, it proceeds while receiving questions and comments from the participants appropriately. Through these discussions, we aim to cultivate logical thinking and communication skills, and to acquire the attitude of proactively addressing philosophical issues.   ■2024 Faculty Tomohisa Furuta, Theory of Knowledge, Philosophy of Language, History of Analytic Philosophy Yoichiro Takahashi, Aesthetics and German Idealism Hideyuki Goda, Indian and Buddhist Studies/Comparative Philosophy Kaori Okitsu, Indian Philosophy and Buddhist Studies Keisuke Nagatsuna, Modern Western Philosophy Mutsuhiro Tsuchiya, Ancient Greek Philosophy History The Master’s Program in History aims to develop students who can make social contributions through their knowledge of history.
