大学公式サイト MENU 大学公式サイト センターブログ 教員ブログ 学生団体ブログ ブログ一覧 国際交流センター ブログサイトトップ センターブログ 国際交流センター Outgoing Finland International Program フィンランド Jamk応用科学大学に行ってきました 2023.11.16 Outgoing Finland International Program フィンランド Jamk応用科学大学に行ってきました 2023年9月8日～18日の11日間、社会福祉学科2名、健康栄養学科2名、薬学科1名、看護学科2名、生物生産学科1名、計8名がフィンランドのユバスキュラ市にあるJamk応用科学大学を訪問し、研修を行ってきました。4年ぶりの派遣となる本研修は、病院、福祉施設視察や講義受講を通して現地の医療、福祉、教育事情を学び、学生と交流する中でフィンランドの文化を体験、実感するプログラムです。 留学生の多いJAMK応用科学大学ですが、16国籍28名の学生を前に日本の文化を紹介する機会を頂き、日本の慶弔や、縁起の良い数字、悪い数字、和食の箸マナーなど、英語でのプレゼンテーションを行いました。多くの質問や意見があがり、皆さんの日本に対する興味、関心の高さを実感する一場面となりましたが、参加学生にとっては大変貴重な経験だったと言えます。視察した高齢者施設では、花や野菜を育てられる庭があり、明るい色の壁、家具などは自宅にいるような空間を施していて、入所者に寄り添った造りであることがわかりました。また、文化交流では薪を燃やして温める伝統的なサウナを体験し、温まった後は湖に入って身体を冷ますという事を繰り返して現地の学生と交友を深めました。その他、参加学生にとって‘初めて見る、聴く、感じる′ことがたくさんあった研修であり、現地へ赴いてこそわかる海外研修の醍醐味を存分に味わうことができました。 ＊本研修は日本学生支援機構の留学生支援制度に採択され，奨学金を得て実施されました。 Our yearly overseas study program in Finland was conducted for the first time in four years. ８students（1 Social Welfare, 2 Health and Nutrition, 1 Pharmacy, 2 Nursing and 1 Applied Biological Sciences) visited Jamk University of Applied Sciences in Jyvaskyla for 11 days from 8-18 Sept. 2023. In the program, students learned about the local medical, welfare and educational conditions through visits to hospitals and welfare facilities and attending lectures, and to experience and feel Finnish culture through exchanges with the students. JAMK University of Applied Sciences has many international students and we had the opportunity to introduce Japanese culture in English to 28 students from 16 different nationalities on topics such as Japanese congratulations and condolences, lucky and unlucky numbers, and Japanese chopstick etiquette. It was a chance to realize how Japanese culture attracts foreingers and since many questions were raised and many opinions were exchanged, the feedback was that this was a very valuable experience for the participating students. At the elderly care home we visited, there was a garden where flowers and vegetables were grown, and the brightly coloured walls and furniture made the place feel like a home, showing that it was built with the residents in mind. In the cultural exchange program, the students experienced a traditional sauna where wood is burned to warm the body, and after warming up, they repeatedly went into the lake to cool down and deepen their friendship with the JAMK students. It is so true that the best part of the trip is people can actualy see, hear and feel, which can only be understood by going to the destination.
